Two Arrested on Drug Charges After Walgreens Shoplifting Investigation

PASADENA, MD – Police in Pasadena have arrested two men during a response to a shoplifting call at the Mountain Road Walgreens. During their investigation, James Edwin Willis, 35; and Andrew Michael Kuchli, 28, were found to be in possession of drugs.

According to police, on Saturday, at approximately 5:30 p.m. officers were dispatched to a call for a shoplifting at the Walgreens 3400 Mountain Road in Pasadena, and the suspect was seen getting into a silver Toyota sedan.

“An officer was able to locate the suspect vehicle and upon searching the vehicle seized 16 gel capsules (4.98 grams) of suspected heroin/fentanyl, 50 grams of suspected marijuana, and 28.5 pills (51 grams) of suspected Gabapentin. The stolen merchandise was recovered and returned to the store. Both driver and passenger were taken into custody and charged accordingly,” police said.
