WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington D.C. Metro Police are investigating an armed robbery that took place on July 1st in Northwest, D.C.. This incident happened on the 2400 block of Wisconsin Avenue. Detectives are asking for the public’s assistance to identify the suspect.
According to police, “At approximately 2:09 pm, the suspect entered an establishment at the listed location. Once inside, the suspect brandished a handgun and demanded money and property from the employee. The employee complied. The suspect then fled the scene.”
A nearby surveillance camera captured the suspect.
