MONGOMERY Co., MD – Police in Montgomery County have identified the victim of a fatal crash that occurred near River Road and Stoney Creek Road Wednesday afternoon.
At around 1 pm., police responded to the crash scene and investigators determined that the driver of a white 2019 Ford F-550 was traveling westbound on River Road when the crash occurred.
The driver of a silver 2012 Toyota Camry was attempting to make a left turn from southbound Stoney Creek Rd. onto eastbound River Road when the two vehicles collided.
The driver of the Toyota was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver has been identified as 79-year-old Sam Mingsan Chen, of Rockville.
