46-Year-Old Man Shot and Killed in Columbus

COLUMBUS, OH- The Columbus Police Department has announced that the deceased victim of a shooting on Friday evening has been identified as 46-year-old Reynard Reed.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 700 Block of Lilley Avenue on Friday. When they arrived, they found Reed lying on the sidewalk suffering an apparent gunshot wound.

He was then transported to a local area hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.

“Initial investigation indicated that the victim was involved in an altercation which might have led to the shooting,” according to police.
