Police Investigating Monday Broad Daylight Shooting Near Baltimore’s Inner Harbor

BALTIMORE, MD – A man was shot in broad daylight just blocks from Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, a major tourist destination filled with museums, restaurants, hotels and scenic destinations.

On Tuesday, at approximately 1:22 p.m., officers responded to an area hospital where a shooting victim walked in seeking treatment.

“Upon arrival, officers located a 31-year-old male who was suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his left thigh,” police said. “During the course of this investigation, detectives received an anonymous call telling them that a shooting had occurred in the 100 block of S. Broadway. However, at this time, a crime scene has not been located by police.”

No suspects have been identified in this shooting.
