Suspect Who Pulled Knife on Patrons at Ferndale Tavern Charged

GLEN BURNIE, MD – Police have announced the arrest of 33-year-old William Weeks who is alleged to have pulled a knife and threatened patrons at the Ferndale Tavern Saturday night.

According to police, at approximately 9:00 p.m., officers responded to a report of an assault at the Ferndale Tavern at 7215 Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard in Glen Burnie.

“Officers learned that a patron pulled a knife on other bar patrons. The armed suspect left the establishment on foot and was located a short distance away by responding officers,” police said. “The suspect was uncooperative and refused to comply with commands. Ultimately, a taser was used to bring the armed suspect into custody. No bar patrons were injured in the assault.”
