Wanna Race? Police Will Be Waiting for You on Route 7 This Weekend

NORWALK, CT – In an effort to deter weekend street racing, this upcoming Friday night into Saturday morning, there will be extra Connecticut State Troopers on the road, in addition to the troopers already on regular patrol.

The additional Troopers will be specifically assigned to Route 7 in Norwalk.

“The purpose of this is to increase State Police presence and motor vehicle enforcement while deterring reckless driving, street racing, and street congregation,” police said.
