Prince George’s County Police Offering Reward in Friday Night Shooting Murder

HYATTSVILLE, MD – Police are offering a $25,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and indictment in the Friday night murder of 23-year-old Damonte Bonner.

On Friday, at approximately 8:35 pm, officers responded to the 3500 block of 55thAvenue in the unincorporated section of Hyattsville for a shooting.

“The victim was located outside suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced deceased a short time later at a hospital,” police said.

Detectives are working to determine a motive and identify the suspect(s).
