25-Year-Old Man Shot in Columbus

Detectives have charged a 36-year-old man with murder in connection to the fatal shooting of a 13-year-old boy in the Hilltop on Wednesday. Krieg Butler Sr. was taken into custody on Thursday without incident.

COLUMBUS, OH- The Columbus Police Department is investigating a shooting that took place at the 5000 Block of East Livingston Avenue on Thursday.

“The victim was with some friends in a parking lot when he was shot one time in the abdomen by an unknown person,” according to police. “The victim was transported to a local hospital in stable condition and is expected to survive his injuries.”
