Columbus Man Survives Gunshot to the Forehead

Detectives have charged a 36-year-old man with murder in connection to the fatal shooting of a 13-year-old boy in the Hilltop on Wednesday. Krieg Butler Sr. was taken into custody on Thursday without incident.

COLUMBUS, OH- The Columbus Police Department is investigating a shooting that took place at the 5000 block of Hall Road on Wednesday.

Officers were dispatched to the area on reports of a shooting. Witnesses stated that the suspects were shooting in the parking lot.

Later on, officers found the 33-year-old victim suffering a gunshot wound to the forehead. He was transported to a local area hospital in stable condition and was treated for his injuries.

“The victim explained that he was shot as a result of a verbal argument,” according to investigators.
