Man Shot and Killed During Philadelphia Car Meet

PHILADELPHIA, PA – A group of car owners assembled in a parking lot on Kelly Drive were showing with each other when things turned deadly last Saturday.

According to police, on July 16th at 6:00 am a shooting occurred in a parking lot on the 2400 block of Kelly Drive.

“The investigation revealed that several vehicles were performing high-risk, illegal maneuvers while some of the vehicle’s occupants watched,” police said. “An altercation began between the victim and members of the group that lead to the victim being shot and killed. The victim was a 30-year-old, black male that sustained a gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced on scene by Medics.”
