48-Year-Old Injured in District Heights Crash Has Died

DISTRICT HEIGHTS, MD – A 48-year-old man who was injured last week in a motor vehicle crash as a passenger was identified as 48-year-old Corey Forrest of Oxon Hill. 

On July 15, 2022, at approximately 10:35 pm, officers responded to Pennsylvania Avenue near Brooks Drive for a collision.  

“The preliminary investigation revealed Forrest was a passenger in a car travelling northbound on Pennsylvania Avenue, when for reasons that are under investigation, the car left the roadway and ultimately came to rest in a parking lot striking multiple unoccupied vehicles,” police said. “The driver was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Forrest was also taken to a hospital for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries on July 19, 2022.”
