Boater Rushed to Hospital After Fire At Norwalk Marina

NORWALK, CT – One man was injured during a boat fire at the Cover Marina in Norwalk Friday afternoon. Police and firefighters responded to the marina after a call reported a fire on a boat within it.

Norwalk Marine Unit and Patrol Division, Norwalk Fire Department, Norwalk Hospital EMS responded to a boat fire at Cove Marina this afternoon.

“Two people were injured and transported to the Norwalk Hospital,” the Norwalk Police Department said initially.

Later it was confirmed that just one male suffered burns during the fire that took place on a 30 foot long cabin cruiser.
