Jackson Police Arrest Crack and Heroin Dealers, Weed Grower

JACKSON TOWNSHIP, NJ – Two suspected crack dealers have been arrested for dealing drugs in Jackson Township, police reported today.

The arrests come after a three-month-long investigation by the department’s Special Enforcement Unit into the reported sale of cocaine and heroin.

“The investigation revealed both Franklyn Baptiste, age 54 of Jackson and Daniel Meadows, age 38 of Jackson were distributing both crack cocaine and heroin from multiple residences and vehicles in Jackson Township,” the department said. “Members of the Special Enforcement Unit and Uniformed Services Division conducted a motor vehicle stop on a 2019 Dodge Caravan operated by Baptiste and Meadows.”

Both subjects were subsequently arrested with being in possession of 200 doses of suspected heroin and drug paraphernalia. Both Baptiste and Meadows were charged and lodged in Ocean County Jail.

According to Sgt. Fred Meabe, “On July 22nd, The Jackson Police Department Special Enforcement Unit and officers from the Uniformed Services Division executed an arrest and search warrant at a residence in Jackson. Arrested was Ty Jarmolowich. During the search, Jarmolowich was found in possession of suspected Methamphetamine. Additionally, nine marijuana plants were found being grown and proceeds from a 2021 burglary were recovered and subsequently returned to the owner.”
