Juvenile Shot in Southwest D.C

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department is investigating a shooting that left a juvenile male injured Thursday evening. This incident took place on the unit Block of Galveston Street in Southwest, D.C. The police are asking for help in identifying the suspect’s vehicle.

Police say, “At approximately 7:08 pm, members of the Seventh District responded to the listed location for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, members located a juvenile male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.”

Nearby surveillance cameras captured the suspect’s vehicle.
