Vineland Man Shot and Killed, Suspect in Custody

VINELAND, NJ – Police have arrested 26-year-old Miguel A. Barea for a Saturday night shooting murder at the intersection of South Main Street and East Elmer Road.

Police said officers arrived at the scene at 11:43 pm after a vehicle had struck a residence. Inside the vehicle. police found Goerge Gonzalez, 27, who was shot before crashing into the residence. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police did not release any further information at this time.
