D.C. Police Search For Armed Carjacking Suspects

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Metro Police Department in Washington, D.C. is investigating an armed attempted carjacking took place on July 23rd. This incident happened on the 4300 block of 1st Street in Southeast, D.C. Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the suspects involved in the attempted carjacking.

According to police, “At approximately 4:58 pm, the suspects approached the victim, who was seated in a vehicle, at the listed location. The suspects attempted to remove the victim from the vehicle and brandished a knife. The victim drove away from the suspects before they were able to take the vehicle. The victim sustained minor injuries and sought medical treatment on their own.”

Surveillance cameras captured the suspects.
