16-Year-Old Reported Missing in Newark Since Monday

NEWARK, NJ – A 16-year-old girl has been reported missing from the city of Newark. Accoridng to Newark Public Safety Director Fitz Fragé, the department is now seeking the public’s help in locating Amorie Shaw, 16, of Newark, who was reported missing from Chancellor Avenue since Monday.

“Amorie was last seen wearing black shorts, a white t-shirt and gray Jordan sneakers. She is described as 5’3” tall, 130 pounds, and has a large gash on her right leg. Amorie is known to frequent the 300 block of Elizabeth Avenue,” police said in the missing person report. “She is reportedly in good mental and physical health.”

Director Fragé urges anyone with information about the whereabouts of Amorie Shaw to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477).
