Man Shot in Northeast D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Metro Police Department in Washington, D.C. is investigating a shooting that took place Saturday afternoon in Northeast D.C.. The shooting took place on the 3700 Block of Minnesota Avenue. The police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect.

According to detectives, “At approximately 3:29 pm, members of the Sixth District responded to the listed location for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, members located an adult male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.”

Nearby surveillance cameras captured the suspect.
