DC Police Searching For Suspect that Shot Victim During Fight

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department is investigating a shooting that took place during an fight in Southeast, D.C.. This incident happened on the 1400 Block of Howard Street yesterday afternoon. The police are searching for the suspect, and the vehicle driven.

Police say, “At approximately 12:47 pm, the suspect and victim were engaged in a physical altercation at the listed location.  During the altercation, the suspect brandished a handgun and shot the victim.  The suspect then fled the scene. The victim was located at a local hospital seeking treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.”

Nearby surveillance cameras captured the suspect and the vehicle involved in the shooting.
