New York Marine Firefighters Battle Blaze at Brooklyn Marina

NEW YORK, NY – On Tuesday, FDNY Marine 3, Marine 9 along with Engine 321 and units from Battalion 33 operated at a fire at a marina in Brooklyn.

“Upon arrival land units observed two approximately 35-foot boats that were involved with fire. Marine 3 arrived shortly after and began to extinguish the fire which was impinging on nearby boats and creating unsafe conditions for land units operating on the docks,” the NYFD said in a statement. “Marine 9 arrived and began to assist in extinguishing the remaining pockets of fire.”

Two 35-foot boats were destroyed in the blaze.
