17 Year-Old D.C. Armed Carjacker Arrested

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington D.C. Metro Police Department has made an arrest in an armed carjacking that took place in Northeast D.C.. Detectives from the Sixth District made the arrest in the incident which took place in the unit block of 46th Street. The victim was a rideshare driver picking up and dropping off passengers.

According to police, “At approximately 11:12 pm, the victim was transporting several passengers. When they arrived at the listed location, the suspects brandished firearms and demanded the victim to exit the vehicle. The victim complied and the suspects fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle.”

17-year-old juvenile male, of Northeast, DC, was arrested on August 1st and charged with Armed Carjacking.
