Juvenile Charged for Shooting and Killing 8-Year-Old in Towson

TOWSON, MD – A juvenile has been arrested and charged for the killing of an 8-year-old girl on Wednesday in Towson.

Baltimore County homicide detectives have charged a juvenile in the shooting death of an 8-year-old girl.

On Wednesday, at approximately 9:25 p.m., officers from the Baltimore County Towson Precinct responded to the 6300 block of Sherwood Road for a reported shooting.

“When officers arrived, they discovered the juvenile victim in the basement of a home,” police reported. “Medics transported the child to an area hospital where she was pronounced deceased.”

Due to their ages, police are not releasing the name of the suspect or the victim.
