Baltimore Police Make Arrest in Shooting of Two Women

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – The Baltimore Police Department have made an arrest in the June 26th shooting of two young women. This incident happened on the 2500 Block of Liberty Heights Avenue in Northwest Baltimore.

30-year-old John Maxwell Holland of Baltimore, a repeat violent offender was arrested on August 5th and charged with Attempted 1st Degree Murder, and 1st Degree Assault.

According to detectives, β€œOn June 26, 2022, at approximately 4:03 a.m., officers in the vicinity of Mondawmin Mall responded to the 2500 block of Liberty Heights Avenue for a report of a shooting. Inside a dwelling at that address, officers located a 23-year-old female suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. She was transported to an area hospital.”

Detectives believe John Maxwell Holland shot a 23-year-old female victim, leaving her critically injured following an argument. A 19-year-old female victim was later discovered suffering from a graze wound from the same shooting.
