Police Searching For Catalytic Converter Thieves

HARRISBURG, PA- The Walnutport Borough Police Department is investigating a catalytic converter theft that took place last Sunday.

“Three black male suspects arrived at the scene operating the pictured silver Toyota Camry or Kia Optima and removed a floor jack and a battery-powered Sawzall from their trunk,” according to police. “The suspects used the floor jack to lift the victim’s vehicle and remove the catalytic converter. “

Subsequently, the victim confronted the suspects, and one suspect reached into his pocket as if he had a weapon, causing the victim to flee.
