According to police, last night, at approximately 9:10 PM first responders were dispatched to 790 Eastbound just past the Route 12 South ramp for a serious motor vehicle accident.

“Upon arrival, they located two parties who were ejected from the vehicle lying near a vehicle that had come to rest on its roof,” police said, “The parties were rendered immediate medical attention and transported to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital. Sadly, one of the parties was pronounced deceased soon thereafter. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers at this time. His identity will not be released until all notifications have been made.”

The second party is currently in critical condition and an update on his condition will likely not be known until tomorrow.
