D.C. Police Search For Car Involved in Shooting

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department is investigating a shooting that left one man hospitalized on July 28th. The shooting took place on the 3000 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue in Southeast, D.C.. The Seventh District Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a vehicle involved in the shooting.

Police say, “At approximately 1:35 am, members of the Seventh District responded to the listed location for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, members located an adult male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.”

A nearby surveillance camera captured the suspect’s vehicle.
