Howard County Crime Report: Here’s What Happened Yesterday

HOWARD COUNTY, MD – The Howard County Police Department has released its Daily Crime Bulletin for Wednesday, August 10, 2022.

The daily crime bulletin is posted each weekday when county offices are open and includes the initial reporting of various crimes such as robberies, burglaries, assaults, vehicle thefts, and theft from vehicles. It is not inclusive of all police activity in a day.

Commercial burglary 
Columbia, 21044: 
Quick Stop Food Mart, 10700 block of Hickory Ridge Road, Aug. 10 4:02 a.m. 
Unknown suspect(s) entered the business by breaking the front glass door and stole cash and lottery tickets. 
 
Jessup, 20794: Burger King, 8700 block of Washington Boulevard, Aug. 10 4:52 a.m. 
Unknown suspect(s) entered the business by breaking a glass door. It is unclear what, if anything, was stolen.  
 
Theft from vehicle/vehicle break-in
Elkridge, 21075: 
7300 block of Washington Boulevard, Aug. 6-10, catalytic converter 
 
Laurel, 20723: 10000 block of Washington Boulevard, Aug. 8-9 overnight, tires 
 
Columbia, 21044: 10600 block of Little Patuxent Parkway, Aug. 8-9 overnight, catalytic converter  
 
Columbia, 21045: 8400 block of Greystone Lane, Aug. 10, wallet 
 
Vehicle theft 
Elkridge, 21075:
