Toledo Police Make Arrest of Man Who Fired Gun During Argument

TOLEDO, OH – Police in Toledo were able to capture a gun shooting suspect thanks to their ShotSpotter gunshot warning system.

According to police, on Saturday, officers received a ShotSpotter alert in the 1900 block of W. Bancroft. Once in the area units spoke with a victim who stated a known male had fired a round at him during an argument.

“After investigating further, officers were able to locate not only the suspect, but the firearm involved,” the department said.

Police did not release the name of the suspect.
