Man Shot Twice Wednesday in Penn Hills

PENN HILLS, PA – A man was shot twice in a shooting that took place Wednesday afternoon in Penn Hills.

The Allegheny County Police Department reported at approximately 12:52 pm, County 9-1-1 was notified of a shooting in the 1600 block of Brushton Avenue.

“First responders found an adult male, near the initial call, with two gunshot wounds; one injury in his arm and one injury in his foot,” the ACPD said in a statement. “The victim was transported to an area hospital and is expected to survive. ACPD General Investigations Unit detectives are initiating the investigation. Investigators determined that this incident occurred throughout several blocks in the City of Pittsburgh and Penn Hills.”

The Medical Examiner’s Office Mobile Crime Unit has been called to assist detectives process the scene for evidence related to this incident.
