One Shot, One Struck By Car In Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting that took place yesterday afternoon in Western Baltimore. This incident happened on the 1200 Block of West Baltimore Street. The suspect also struck a pedestrian on the corner of West Baltimore Street and South Carrollton Avenue.

According to police, “At approximately 12:23 p.m., Western District patrol officers responded to the 1200 block of West Baltimore Street to investigate a shooting. Once at the location, officers located a 55-year-old male victim suffering from graze wounds to the right arm, stomach, and back. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. As the suspect(s) fled in a vehicle going east on Baltimore Street, the vehicle struck a 27-year-old male pedestrian on the corner of West Baltimore Street and South Carrollton Avenue. Investigators believe it was intentional. The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.”
