District Heights Man Shot and Killed

DISTRICT HEIGHTS, MD – A 28-year-old from District Heights was shot and killed Wednesday night. Police have identified the victim as Stanley Ramey.

According to police, on Wednesday, at approximately 10:30 pm, patrol officers were called to the 2100 block of Rochelle Avenue for a report of a shooting. 

“They discovered Ramey unresponsive in the parking lot of an apartment complex suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on scene,” police reported. “Detectives are working to identify a suspect(s) and a motive.”
