16-Year-Old Shot in Clifton

CLIFTON, NJ – Police are investigating after a 16-year-old was shot and rushed to the hospital with non-fatal wounds.

According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Clifton Police Chief Thomas Rinaldi, at approximately 9:01 p.m. on Thursday, members of the Clifton Police Department were advised that a 16-year-old juvenile was transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey seeking treatment for a non-fatal gunshot wound.

“Based on the preliminary investigation, the shooting occurred in the area of Highland Avenue and Hope Avenue in Clifton, New Jersey,” police reported today.
