Suspicious Person Call Leads to Crack Bust

LISBON, CT – On August 17, 2022, at approximately 6:40 p.m., Troopers were dispatched to the Lisbon boat launch for the report of a suspicious vehicle. Upon arrival, Troopers observed a male outside of the vehicle and a subject stop was conducted.

Through the investigation, Troopers discovered that the male held an active arrest warrant from the City of Norwich. The male was then taken into custody. A search incident to arrest was conducted and Troopers discovered approximately 0.2 grams of purple fentanyl, 12 “Suboxone” strips and 11.5 grams of crack-cocaine.

The accused male had bail set at $2,500, and was charged with violating Connecticut General Statute:

The man’s name was not released by the Connecticut State Police.
