One Shot and Killed in Overnight Shooting in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MD – A Baltimore man was shot and left for dead in the Midtown Edmondson neighborhood of Baltimore overnight.

Police reported that at approximately 12:39 a.m., officers responded to the 500 block of Bentalou Street for a shot spotter alert.

“Upon arrival, officers located an unidentified male lying in an alley adjacent to the 2300 block of Ashton Street. The male victim had been shot and was unresponsive,” police reported. “The victim was transported to Shock Trauma where he was pronounced deceased a short time later.”

Homicide detectives were summoned and are now investigating this incident.
