Woman Charged with Murder of Another in Buffalo

BUFFALO, NY – A Buffalo woman has been charged for the shooting murder of a 3-year-old female early Monday morning.

According to Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn, 29-year-old Jasmine Craig of Buffalo was arraigned this morning before Buffalo City Court Judge Shannon M. Heneghan on one count of Murder in the Second Degree.

Flynn said that on Monday, at approximately 12:35 a.m., the defendant shot and killed the victim in the vicinity of 171 Berkshire Avenue in Buffalo. The victim, a 30-year-old female, died at the scene.

Craig is scheduled to return on Friday, August 26, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. for a felony hearing. She was remanded without bail.
