Columbus Police Seeking Diamond Ring Thief

COLUMBUS, OH – Police in Columbus are searching for a suspected wanted for stealing a diamond ring from Macy’s.

According to police, the suspect was seen pacing around the jewelry department of Macy’s at Tuttle Crossing Blvd.

“He asked an employee to try on a diamond ring. After putting it on his finger, the suspect ran out of the business and into a red SUV. There was also a getaway driver,” the Columbus Police Department said.

The ring is valued at $1,300, making this a felony.

The suspect was described as 5’10”, 160lbs., full beard and sporting a man bun. He was wearing a white visor, blue Nike shoes, gray denim shorts and a white t-shirt with a rose over a checker pattern.
