Gloucester Police Urge Residents to Share Doorbell Video, Tips of Suspicious Activity

Gloucester Township, NJ – Is there something strange in the neighborhood? You shouldn’t be afraid of ghosts, but the Gloucester Police Department warned residents about a real threat, thefts of unlocked vehicles in the community.

Police said starting in late July, continuing through August, and again on August 20, the Gloucester Township Police Department have investigated numerous unlocked vehicle burglaries and attempted vehicle burglaries in the Blenheim and Blackwood Sections of Gloucester Township.

On Saturday, an unlocked motor vehicle with the keys left inside was stolen from the Blackwood area, possibly by the same suspects.

“Residential camera systems throughout the area have captured images of the suspects committing these crimes,” police said and they are now asking the community to watch the videos to see if they recognize the suspects.

Police are also asking residents who may have captured these suspects on video to share the video with the department.
