Yardley Police Blotter: Here’s What’s Happening

YARDLEY, PA – Police in Yardley have issued the following statements regarding recent crimes that took place in the city.


On August 23, 2022, a YBPD assigned to traffic enforcement at Main & Irving Streets observed a white truck south on N. Main St. at 43 MPH in a 25 MPH zone. A check of the operator’s license through the National Crime Information Center revealed an open warrant from Lancaster PA for Felony Delivery of a Controlled Substance As a result, a male age 40 from Philadelphia PA was arrested, arraigned and turned over to constables for lodging in Bucks County Prison.


On August 23, 2022, at appx. 11:00 AM., a YBPD officer was dispatched to a retailer on E. Afton Av. to investigate a theft that occurred at appx. 08:30 am. The suspect is a white male adult wearing a Nike hat, black shorts and white shirt. The theft is under investigation.


On August 23, 2022, at appx. 12:42 AM., a YBPD officer was dispatched to a residence on Harlow Ct. to a reported drug possession. During the investigation, officers developed probable cause that a subject hand obtained and possessed a controlled substance without a Rx. As a result, a female age 37 from Yardley PA was arrested, processed transferred to Bucks County Prison. The matter is pending court.


On August 23, 2022, a YBPD observed a Honda sedan with a lighting violation. A check of the registration revealed an open warrant from the Bucks County Sheriff’s Office. As a result, a male age 48 from Lower Makefield, PA was arrested and turned over to Bucks County Sheriff’s Officers.
