Woman Shot in Southeast D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Metro Police Department in Washington, D.C. is investigating a shooting that took place on Friday evening. This incident took place on the 1200 block of Oak Drive in Southeast, D.C. Detectives are asking for help identifying the vehicles involved.

According to police, “At approximately 6:51 pm, members of the Seventh District responded to the listed location for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, members located an adult female victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.”
