NEW YORK, NY – Police in Brooklyn have reported that a man caught after robbing a bank was on probation for a prior conviction.

According to police, after a suspect armed with a gun passed a note demanding money at a Brooklyn bank yesterday, he fled with thousands of dollars.

“With the help of our Real Time Crime Center, officers across several precincts apprehended the suspect, who is on probation,” police said.
