Hazmat crew dispatched to clean up after I-81 tractor-trailer crash

Augusta County, Virginia – Interstate 81 was shut down through Augusta County while police investigated a tractor-trailer crash. After the investigation, HAZMAT crews were required to clean up the scene of the incident.

Police announced due to tractor trailer crash with hazmat cleanup near mile marker 211 at the time of the crash. Traffic was detoured at exit 200 and throug Route 11. There were major delays on both highways.
