Virginia Beach fight turns deadly, suspect charged with manslaughter

Virginia Beach, VA – the Virginia Beach Police Department has announced that a man injured in a fight back on August 11th at a local business has died from his injuries. Now his attacker is facing a manslaughter charge. At around 11:16 PM, Virginia police officers responded to the business located at the 3200 block of Shore Drive, for the report of an assault.

Upon their arrival, police learned that a fight between two men inside the business got heated. During the exchange, one of the individuals suffered a head injury and was transported to the local hospital for treatment.

The attacker was identified as Wesley Horbal.

On August 25th, detectives with the Virginia Beach Police Department were made aware that the victim had succumbed to their injuries and had been pronounced dead. Now Horbal is being charged with manslaughter.
