Newark Police Seeking to Identify Car Burglary Suspects

NEWARK, NJ (PSA Press Release) – Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé requests the public’s help with identifying the below-pictured suspects, who entered an unlocked automobile and took the victim’s backpack on August 28, 2022.

Police responded to a call about a burglary that occurred at approximately 2:25 p.m. in the 700 block of Broad Street. Surveillance video captured two suspects entering the unlocked 2016 Toyota Camry and removing a backpack containing the victim’s personal belongings. The suspects are known to frequent Broad and Market streets.
