Clarkstown Police Practice Active Shooter Drill Ahead of First Day of School

CLARKSTOWN, NY – Members of the Clarkstown and Orangetown Police Department participated in a joint “Active Shooter” training last week.

” Drills such as these reinforce that our techniques and tactics are working in sync. Although we hope to never have an incident here, our Police Officers and those throughout Rockland County are trained and prepared to respond immediately and stop the threat,” police said. “A special thank you to the Nyack School District for allowing us to use their facility.”
