Howard County Crime Report: Here’s What’s Happening

HOWARD COUNTY, MD – The Howard County Police Department has reported the following incidents that required police response in the past few days in their daily crime bulletin.

“The daily crime bulletin is posted each weekday when county offices are open and includes the initial reporting of various crimes such as robberies, burglaries, assaults, vehicle thefts, and theft from vehicles. It is not inclusive of all police activity in a day,” the department said in a statement.

Columbia, 21046: Exxon Gas Station, 6300 block of Stevens Forest Road, Aug. 31 11:28 p.m.

An employee reported a male suspect entered the store, displayed a weapon and demanded money. The employee complied and the suspect fled with cash. No one was injured.

SUSPECT: white male, approximately 6’0” with a slim build, wearing a gray tank top and shorts

Theft from vehicle

Laurel, 20723: 11100 block of Scaggsville Road, Aug. 31, wallet

8300 block of Haven Hill Court, Aug. 31, credit cards

8500 block of Willow Wisp Court, Sept. 1, various items

Ellicott City, 21043: 8600 block of Town and Country Boulevard, Sept. 1, catalytic converter

10000 block of Clarksville Pike, Aug. 31, wallet

3200 block of North Ridge Road, Sept. 1, battery


Elkridge, 21075: 6600 block of Washington Boulevard, Sept. 1, various items

Vehicle theft

Elkridge, 21075: 6200 block of Sandrise Court, Sept. 1
