Man Shot and Killed on Hollins Street in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MD – Baltimore Police are investigating after responding to the scene of a shooting to find one man shot and killed.

According to police, on Thursday, at approximately 10:27 p.m., Southwest District officers were in the area responding to a call for service when they heard gunfire.

“Moments later, police dispatch notified officers that there was a Shot Spotter alert for gunfire in the 2500 block of McHenry Street,” police said. “Officers canvassed the area and located an unidentified male suffering from gunshot wounds in the 2500 block of Hollins Street. The victim was transported by ambulance to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center with life threatening injuries.”

Medical personnel pronounced the victim dead shortly after arrival.

According to police investigating the incident, no suspects or motives have been announced at this time. No arrests have been made.
