Shooter Arrested in August Baltimore Murder Case

BALTIMORE, MD – Police in Baltimore have identified and arrested the man who shot and killed 37-year-old Eric Christian White on August 10th.

Police reported that Jones shot Eric White while in the 1300 block of North Carey Street, after an argument.

Eric White later died at an area hospital from his injuries.

“Detectives arrested Joseph Lee Jones on August 26, 2022, and transported him to Central Booking Intake facility where he has been charged with 1st Degree murder,” police said today.

According to an earlier report, at approximately 10:43 a.m., a Southwest District patrol officer was driving in the 1900 block of Edmondson Avenue, when a motorist pulled up beside the officer and advised him that his passenger had been shot.
