Traffic Advisory: Brazilian Festival in Newark

NEWARK, NJ – The Newark Police Department has issued a travel advisory for parts of the city on Saturday and Sunday to the scheduled Brazilian Festival.

Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé announces that the following streets will be closed due to the Brazilian Festival on the below-designated dates and times:

Beginning from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. on both Saturday, September 3, 2022, and Sunday, September 4, 2022

Niagara Street between Hensler Street and Ferry Street

Drivers are advised to anticipate delays and to plan alternate routes.
