Woman Killed After Finishing Late Night Shift at Manhattan IHOP

New York, NY-  A woman who was just finishing up her shift at a Manhattan IHOP was shot and killed by an unknown man after completing her shift early Thursday morning.   The New York City Police Department subsequently arrested Clarkson Wilson, 44, and charged him with murder and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon.

The incident happened around 5 a.m. Saturday morning as a woman had just completed her late night shift at the restaurant near Union Square.

 According to police Ashley left the restaurant after a man approached her on the street and shot her in the head.

The gunman was identified as Clarkson Wilson at this time please believe a possible motive for the shooting was related to a diabetic dispute between Wilson and the victim.

 At this time please have not released the victim’s name.
